About Us
The Deep-C Data Center was established at the Florida State University to accept, distribute, and ensure the long-term archival of any Deep-C-funded dataset, analysis, or product. The data center is developing a web-based portal to allow scientists and the public to view and access these data, analyses, and products. The portal will provide both tabular and graphical user interfaces. Additionally, access will be provided to relevant data sets and products focused on the northeast Gulf of Mexico that are deemed by Deep-C scientists to be useful to their colleagues. This web site provides information about the data center (including our policies and practices), data access, data and metadata submission information, and access to relevant literature.
Deep-C was a four-year, interdisciplinary study of deep sea to coast connectivity in the northeastern Gulf of Mexico.Deep-C is no longer an active research project. The information on this website is for historical reference purposes only.
